TERMINAL NORTH TERMINAL IMPROVEMENTS

Johnson, Avedano, Lopez, Rodriguez & Walewski Engineering Group provided HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Electrical Engineering services for this project that consisted of approximately 441,000 square foot of renovations to the existing Terminal Building, spanning from Terminal “A” through “G”, Levels 1 through 3; from curbside to, and including, the Ticket Counters.  

The Scope of Work included Mechanical and Electrical Systems upgrades, including demolition.  

The project requirements included the replacement of the existing Mechanical Penthouses and Central Air Handling Units, with new large built-up type air handler systems, serving areas ranging from 100,000 to 135,000 square feet; Smoke Control Systems, including Stairwells and Elevator Shafts Pressurization; Building Management Systems; normal power and standby power electrical distribution systems; energy efficient design, Fire Alarm Systems, Public Address Systems, Access Control Systems and Telecommunication Systems.
