HOPE HOSPICE

Johnson, Avedano, Lopez, Rodriguez & Walewski Engineering Group provided HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Electrical Engineering Design Services for this new two-story, 50,000 square foot hospice facility constructed in Lehigh Acres, Florida.

The twenty-four bed facility achieved a Silver rating from the U.S. Green Building Council and is the first hospice facility to be certified in the State of Florida and the third to be certified in the United States.  

Sustainable design technologies implemented in this project included daylight harvesting, heat recovery units, automatic lighting controls with occupancy sensors; energy efficient lighting and CO2 based demand control ventilation.
